KeraStraight Ultimate Treatment uses multiple protein technologies to repair, straighten and smooth hair from root to tip.

The hair’s natural composition is mainly Keratin, a protein containing 5 separate elements and multiple Amino Acids that repeat and interact. Amino acids are critical and serve as the building blocks for proteins.

Ultimate Treatment’s low pH of 2.5 makes hair incredibly ionic which interrupts its ability to form a curl. This changed states creates the resistant to humidity.

Our Proteins Carbocysteine, Hydrolyzed Keratin & Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein have small molecules allowing them to diffuse rapidly into the cuticle & cortex to react with the hair Keratin. These proteins help to fill in the defects, restructuring & strengthening to create healthier hair and make it less prone to breakage.

The positively charged amino acids and proteins attach to the negatively charged damaged hair to establish the rebuilding and repair and combat frizz & the effects of humidity.

Glycerine, Soybean, Palm & Rice extracts are hygroscopic ingredients that help maintain a greater moisture balance within the hair.

Glyoxylic Acid weakens the hair’s Hydrogen & Salt Bonds which allows cross-linking. As the hair is heated, these bonds are strengthened into the new shape, which also secures the proteins and amino acids in the hair.

KS Complex –is a compound of African & Amazonian fruit & plant extracts which help keep the treatment sealed in for maximum performance and longevity.

KS Complex is included in all of our treatments, Moisture and Protein Masks as well as our Moisture Enhance and Volume Enhance Shampoos and Conditioners.
